The Return Guide Book Historic Collector's Souvenir

You can forget all about December 21st 2012

__________ NOTHING IS GOING TO HAPPEN ...

Instead in all probability May 22nd 2013 is the time of the next Return Event
as I very accurately describe having seen the Ancient Object cross down in 1970.

Return Viewer's Guide For Use With A Small Backyard Telescope

Small Backyard Telescopes

I have stated on the Return Viewer's Guide Page and I will say it again, I have no expertise regarding small back yard telescopes.
Also I have very little small backyard telescope experience overall. Concerning my view of the Ancient Object that night long ago I can and do accurately detail some of the sights that I saw. This is my area of things, not backyard telescopes.

That said overall I have tried to find out some basic backyard telescope information. I don't own a backyard telescope yet. I will need to buy one for myself and also for my two children. There seems to be plenty of time remaining depending on how you look at it.
Having a nice small backyard telescope and a good pair of binoculars for a couple of years leading up to the Object's return is my aim.

As a good place to start I am going to include the below link found at the space.com forum. As usual space.com is a very good place to find useful information, especially for the layman and that does describe me in all other areas outside of the Ancient Object and the Moon's Lasting Light. I'm no expert in this either. Unfortunately as I know only to well, there are no experts in this difficult ancient area.

Once again I would like to thank the folks at space.com

Looking up into space starts with a clear sky.
This fact is and was always of concern for all stargazers.
As it turns out this was of extra special concern for everyone who has ever tried to see the Object and everyone who hopes to ever see the Object and especially the Lasting Light event.
By luck on the night that I saw Object and the Lasting Light, the sky was completely cloudless.
The next time the ancient Object is crossing down in front of the Moon everyone is going to need a clear sky above them. Unfortunately that just isn't going to happen. Incredibly in order to see the Fantastic ancient Awesome Good, every Earth bound viewer always has and always will be hoping, 'praying' for a clear sky. Climbing a high mountain isn't an option for the average person. I have read that in ancient times people did climb mountains in association with some ancient Object and Lasting Light themes.

Below is what is called a "Clear Sky Clock," for locations in North America.
